Andrea Gould

I'm Andrea Gould and I teach math at Aragon High School in San Mateo. I'm in the faculty workroom finalizing my grades and trying to get checked out of here. I leave on Thursday morning to read AP Statistics exams in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm busy getting everything taken care of before I leave my wife and two young children alone for 10 days.
My teaching style is very technology based and my life completely changed the day I got my document camera. Students say I'm their only teacher that actually uses my smartboard. I guess my current learning style is experiential because that is all I have time for anymore.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and working hard with you. Enjoy what you have of your summer.

Merit 0809 Teachers' Introductions

Hello there Merit teachers for the 2009-2010 program! We are excited that you are able to participate in our program and anxious to meet each of you in person. You will learn to use many tools during the institute, some of which we hope you will integrate into your teaching . For starters, we would like you to use Blogger as a way to introduce ourselves to each other before the institute starts. Please add a post of your own to this blog (click on "New Post" in the upper right) telling a bit about yourself, and be sure to add a picture. To add a bit of a challenge to this, please compare your teaching style with your learning style. As more introductions are posted, please read a few and then add a comment to another person's introduction with whom you might share an interest. Last year this worked very well! I'm sure that this will make it even more fun to meet in person on July 6th here at the KCI.
